Four Year Pictures

It's hard to believe that it has been a year since I last had Jack's pictures taken! Sue Chambers does an AMAZING job capturing Jack's personality even when he is being a stinker :) Here are just a few of the amazing pictures!!

Jack turns 4!

It's hard to believe that my baby turned 4 today.  It seems like just yesterday I was brining him home from the hospital.  Over these past 4 years there have been a lot of changes, lots of ups and downs, but finally Jack and I are in a place where we are happy! We are both ready for summer so we can go camping, hiking, and most importantly spending lots of time together.  With working 40-50 hours a week I feel like Jack and I barely see each other.  We both look forward to the weekends and spending much needed time cuddling on the couch!!

Jack is one of the sweetest, most caring kids I have ever met.  He is constantly reminding me of how much he loves me and how he wants to always make sure I have presents on my birthday.  Jack is no longer a baby, I mean he will always be my baby, but he is strong and independent and doesn't need his mama to do everything for him.  It is hard to believe he will start Pre-K in the fall and before I know it he will be heading off to Kindergarten.  As much as I want Jack to stay little, it is amazing seeing the young man he is becoming!! I don't know what I would have done without him these past 12 months!

Hello SuMmEr!

Well my first year of teaching is officially over and it is such a bitter-sweet feeling! I made some of the best friends this past year, I seriously could not have asked for better coworkers! We ended the year with a pool party and reminiscing about the year. I don't think I will ever forget my first year! And now summer has begun... Jack and I are enjoying sleeping in and playing outside! My little man is actually starting to get a tan on his marshmallow skin! We are currently in Unionville, Missouri staying with my Gram and Grandad. I hadn't been back for the Ryals reunion in years and wanted Jack to meet everyone! It has been a great weekend full of family, food and fireworks! I will be sure to post pictures soon, I can't figure out how to post from my iPad! Finally, I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend. I am beyond thankful for my little brother and soldier, Jordan! Thank you for serving our country! Love you!

It's Almost Summer!

It is hard to believe that my first year of teaching is almost over! I have 3 days left as an elementary special ed teacher at Ridgeview and then come August I will begin my new adventure as a high school special ed teacher at Bloomington High School! None of this was expected but it is a journey I am excited to take! The drive will be shorter and I will get out of school earlier! Jack and I are very excited to spend the entire summer together with nothing planned but swimming and playing outside! 

This past week Jack came to visit me at school, which both him and my students LOVED! He would have stayed and played for hours! Jack also brought Heidi, Amber and me "birthday presents"! We took the camper out for the first time this year and Jack was BEYOND excited! He had been asking for weeks now if we could go camping and he finally got to go! He was a dirty mess by the end of the night but he was in heaven!! This next week will be very bitter sweet but I am very thankful for everyone who has helped me through this past year!

Update on Life!

I have been horrible about posting on here! I always seem to forget! There are only 15 days left in my first year of teaching and it is completely bitter sweet! I am so ready for some time home with my little guy this summer and he is too!! He is TOTALLY into parks and we have already been to 12 different ones!! We are so excited to go to more :) He is geting big WAY too fast and I hate it, I just want him to stay little!!

Spring!!

I haven't been very good about updating this but I will try and get better!! My brother left for South Korea last Sunday to serve in the Army. We are so proud of him but it will be a long year without him! The weather this past week has been crazy!! It's only March and it's been in the 80's!! It has been wonderful! Jack has loved playing outside and today we went to the park! This is going to be a fun summer with my crazy 3 year old!! I will post some pictures later, I'm still new to this and can't figure out how from my iPad! Hopefully this week flies by , I am so ready for spring break and some much needed time with my little man!!
